Rainbow Ring on the Sun - Mayan Ruins of Coba - archaeological park in Quintara Roo, México

This picture was taken on the top of a Mayan pyramid, longest day of the year "summer solstice". Coba: Mayan ruins in Quintana Roo Mexico . are located 42 km. west of Tulum. With many buildings still covered by jungle, Coba is over 80 sq. miles with 5 lakes. Nohoch Mul is the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan peninsula. It is 12 stories tall and has 120 steps to the top! But from the top you can view a magnificent span of jungle with the tops of other ruins reaching above the jungle canopy.

In fact the participant is American, who flew all the way from US to Langkawi. I met him again during this year's Ironman race on 23rd-Feb-08, and he is getting stronger and stronger. We are very salute him.... IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING.

Only regret the festival is not longlasting to night time as ever learnt that some other Festivals in Europe & USA will light up the balloon until night time.
