I live in South Philadelphia where I enjoy the grafitti artists who decorate seemingly every nook and cranny of this city with their art. I consider grafitti to be an example of excellence in motion as I imagine the artist with spray-can in hand making graceful sweeping arcs of the purple lettering followed by sharp precise movement on the light blue. While this isn't the greatest example of grafitti I've seen or photographed in Philly, l carry my camera with me every day to work, and every day I walk by this wall and notice the contrast in colors between the grafitti itself and the weeds and posts in front of it. This shot was taken with a Nikon D40.
